On November 20th 2010, the Second Workshop on Energy Economics and Management and Founding Ceremony of the Society of Energy Economics and Management of SCOPE was convoked. Over 100 leaders experts and scholars from more than 50 units including the State Council Research Office, National Energy Research Institute, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Planning Institute, China Science and Technology Association, SCOPE, Department of Management Sciences of National Natural Science Foundation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University and China National Petroleum Corporation attended the meeting. Prof. Yi-Ming Wei, dean of School of Management and Economics presided the opening ceremony.
