On Oct. 17-20, 2012, the 6th Workshop on Development and Utilization Strategy of Energy Resources was co-hosted by CSEEM, China Society of Complex Systems Research and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) at the East China University of Science and Technology.

More than 200 experts, scholars and graduate students from universities, government departments, energy enterprises and scientific research institutes attended the meeting. The topics of energy and economic growth, energy industry development and management, energy and low-carbon economy, energy and climate economy, and complex socio-economic systems were discussed on the theme of "Modeling and Exploitation of Energy Resources and Social and Economic Complex Systems".
