On Oct. 17-18, 2013, the 4th Annual Conference on Energy Economy and Management (also the 7th Workshop on Development and Utilization Strategy of Energy Resources was jointly organized by CSEEM and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) at Wuhan University. More than 200 experts, scholars and graduate students from universities, government departments, energy enterprises and scientific research institutes attended the meeting.

The conference focused on the following topics: climate change response and adaptation strategies, energy efficiency and economic growth, energy efficiency and energy efficiency management, carbon markets and carbon finance, carbon intensity and carbon productivity , Low-carbon economic transformation, climate economics and energy economics theories and methods, climate policy and energy economy model, climate change and energy strategy management, and other climate policy and energy economy related issues.
