On Nov. 14, 2016, the 7th Annual Conference on Energy Economy and Management was sussessfully held in Nanjing. And more than 400 energy economy and management scholars from more than 100 universities and research institutes attended the opening ceremony.

The theme of this conference was "Low Carbon Transformation and Energy Revolotion", which was divided into theme report and session report. Prof. Ang BW from the National University of Singapore, Prof. Lin Boqiang from Xiamen University, Prof. Huo Hong from the Department of Management Science of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Prof. Zhou Hongchun from the State Council Development Research Center and Prof. Li Shanjun from Cornell University presented thematic reports. During the conference, an enlarged meeting of the Standing Council was held and the new elected list of the Council was voted.

In addition, 145 experts and scholars presented reports in 12 sub-venues around the topics including "energy efficiency and energy conservation", "energy economy", "climate change economy", "carbon trading market", "low carbon development path", "energy finance" Security", "new energy industry policy", "energy technology innovation", and "energy poverty and health" etc.

The closing ceremony of the annual meeting also awarded the China Energy Economics and Management outstanding graduate students. Among them, there are one first prize, three second prizes, 10 third prizes. Moreover, a handover ceremony was carried out with the next sponsor.
